Things Evie hates: getting dressed/undressed, having her hair dried, having her nose cleaned, sitting still in the car, sitting still in the ergo, (sitting still, period), not being held when mama's around, being awake when she suddenly decides she's tired, and other things depending on her mood. More often than not, these things all cause screaming, real-tears and boogers, crying fits. Fun!
The past few days/weeks have been challenging, for sure. But fun too...
She is crawling really well now, and maneuvering herself better every day. Our sleeping arrangement is quickly becoming more hazardous by the day. We have bumpers for the bed, which are just fine to keep her contained if she rolls in her sleep, but she likes to crawl all over the bed when she's awake (sometimes so quietly that we don't even hear her! sneaky!) and can easily get over the bumpers. We're either going to buy a crib, or move the guest room mattress to the floor. I'm leaning toward crib.
She's also started doing really fun things like giving kisses. She loves to give them to me! There's a picture of my friends on I on our fridge that she loves. I found a duplicate and chopped my head out to put in her toy camera. When we showed it to her, she leaned over and gave it several kisses! She loves her mama. The feeling's mutual! :) She also loves food!
Scott has been helping me with my thesis, which I am eternally grateful for! He spent something like 7 hours reading/editing it for me over the weekend. Now that's love. :) I'm turning it in tomorrow, which means I need to get to work!
