tis the season!

Happy girl, first thing this morning.

It's no secret that I love taking photos! Even moreso, I love giving personalized photo gifts.  I have been doing that since way before the digital age; I'd spend hours crafting photo albums with handwritten descriptions.

Those albums are now yellowing, and things have changed a lot!  Digital photography paved the way for all kinds of cool stuff!  I now have several beautiful canvas prints on my wall, ordered online with a digital file.  I love them so much; they look like paintings!  I get (and frequently give as gifts) a calendar every year.  No other calendar will do! This year, for the first time, I am ordering personalized christmas cards.  It just didn't seem as vital before I had a cute kid to show off.

I've looked at nearly all of the photo sites, and shutterfly definitely has the coolest designs this year!  I'm ordering several different designs, mostly so I can use several different pictures -- it's hard to decide on just one or two when you have so many fun ones to choose from!

Having a baby has definitely put me into the holiday spirit WAY more than I usually am.  I hope everyone enjoys their cards as much as I enjoy making them!
