fruits of my labor

We got our first edible tomato from the Bush Early Girl plant!

Verdict: ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!  There are many more coming; hopefully they don't all ripen before we get back from vacation.  If so, Aunt Crystal may have to enjoy them.  I'm sure she will be disappointed. ;)

I have another one of these plants ready to transplant into the ground, too! Yay!  Wish all of the other plants were doing so well.  Sadly, we've lost a few, and it looks like we may lose a few more.  I definitely need to do a bit of maintenance work in the garden before we leave.
