Oregon vacation day 4: Cannon Beach

On Tuesday, we headed up north to Cannon Beach after breakfast at home.  The drive there was absolutely gorgeous!  The city was lined in flowers, and we saw the infamous Haystack Rock (of Goonies fame.)  We ate some pizza and did a bit of window shopping, but spent most of our time there on the beach.  Scott got a bit of sun burn thanks to our total lack of planning (again!).

On the way back home, we had to stop at a few places to admire the view.  It was really incredible!

That evening I took Evie back down to the beach by the house to give Scott a bit of quiet time.  She spent an hour just happy to roll around in the sand.  I cooked pork chops and veggies, and we had another nice, quiet night at home.
